Do you stay overnight?
Yes. Stay Sit Snuggle is in-home pet and house sitting with overnight stays in your home, so your pets keep their usual routine while you're away.
Do you meet my pets before the booking?
Yes. Darcie does a meet and greet before bookings, so she can learn your pets' routine and your pets can get to know her.
Do you do house sitting?
Yes. Stay Sit Snuggle offers pet sitting and house sitting, both as overnight stays in your home.

What kinds of pets do you care for?
Cats and dogs. If you have another kind of pet, ask Darcie before you book.
What happens if my pet needs a vet at night?
Leave your vet's details and the after-hours option for your town. On the Mid and North Island, clinics handle after-hours calls in different ways, and the Nanaimo emergency hospital is closed on some days, so call first. Each area page lists the options and the date they were checked.

Which towns do you cover?
Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Qualicum Beach, Comox, Courtenay and Campbell River, on Mid to North Vancouver Island. The Stay Sit Snuggle Facebook page also lists Vancouver and Edmonton, so ask about dates there.
How far ahead can I book?
Stay Sit Snuggle is taking bookings into 2027 (as of September 2026). School breaks and holidays are popular travel times, so it helps to ask as soon as your dates are firm.
